Most and Least Religious States

Religiousness varies widely across the United States of America, as 59 percent of Mississippi residents consider themselves “very religious”, the nation’s highest number, while Vermont has the lowest number with just 21 percent.

Indiana, meanwhile, has 41 percent of residents who identify as very religious. Here’s a chart I made using information from Gallup that shows Indiana, the most religious states, Indiana’s bordering states and the least religious states.
